Gobar Upcycling: Transforming Waste into Value

At Krishna Gau Sewak Gaushala, we are committed to responsible and sustainable practices. One way we achieve this is through our Gobar (cow dung) management program. Gobar, often considered waste, is a valuable resource in our hands. We utilize innovative techniques to transform it into useful products, minimizing our environmental footprint and generating additional income to support the gaushala’s operations.

Our Gobar Upcycling Process:

Collection: We collect cow dung daily, ensuring proper hygiene and sanitation throughout the process.
Treatment: The dung undergoes a natural treatment process to remove moisture and eliminate any harmful bacteria.
Product creation: We use the treated dung to create eco-friendly product.

Why we do it?

  • Reduces waste: Diverts gobar from landfills, contributing to a cleaner environment.
  • Promotes sustainability: Utilizes a renewable resource efficiently, minimizing reliance on non-renewable sources.
  • Generates income: Creates a source of revenue for the gaushala to support its operations and the well-being of the cows.
